i mentioned it on twitter briefly in reply to spart's query as to why i'm learning as much as possible about photoshop and illustrator. i'm planning on starting a part-time business as a photo retoucher in addition to my training as a pilates instructor. anyway i'm blogging about this as a segue to introduce an important new family member who will be my main aid in helping me with retouching:

wow.
the manila envelope was a nice touch :)
i don't think i'll be picking up a macbook air anytime soon - i still have to upgrade to leopard; once i do though i will get the time capsule as i need a back-up drive. freaks me out whenever i think about the fact that i don't have one right now. i'm also considering getting a nano (this has nothing to do with today's announcements), but i'm hedging because - what if the iphone comes to canada soon? then i don't need another ipod. it will all be in one beautiful sleek toy. i just hope it doesn't come to rogers. there's a new contract opening for another phone company carrier to pick up the competition, so i'm....waiting.
just for a little while.

iphone
here's an interesting run-down of some of the latest features that will be available with apple's new iphone. i know i won't be getting it (money aside, i don't need those gadgets yet) but i'm curious - are any of you considering it? (i'm a-lookin' @ u, spart!)
