at 13:13 today i turn 25.

i'm actually really looking forward to getting older - the twenties are hard, because you're still growing up but with a job and responsibilities that keep getting bigger. so you're kind of like a teenager but with an income.

a lot of people i've talked to have been reassuring about the thirties. so i'm looking forward to those years more than i can say. no one knows what will happen, but in terms of the self-discovery - well, hopefully things have fleshed out enough by then that there will be some comfort. that would be nice. but since you can never tell, we'll just have to wait and see...

i really enjoyed the lunar eclipse on wednesday night. i love the moon (my first word was "moon") and i think it is one of the most magical and beautiful things about our planet. i love that we have a moon.
